Indian Rio Paralympics medal winners to receive special honour by Yash Raj Films!

The Indian Rio Paralympics medal winners will be receiving a special honour by Yash Raj Films! YRF has said that it will be more than happy to commend gold medal winners at the Rio Paralympics. YRF will be rewarding a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh to the winners to encourage and salute their spirit of sports.

YRF spoke about the same to a web portal, “The studio believes to celebrate the sportsman spirit of these athletes. YRF is known to back sports subjects in Hindi cinema. With ‘Chak De! India’, Yash Raj Films had backed a subject few would touch- and won over audiences with an entertaining, powerful message in support of women in sport.”

This is the second time that Yash Raj Films has lent its support to encourage Indian sports as earlier it had backed Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ that was based on the sport of wrestling.
