Is Naga Chaitanya stepping into Kartik Aaryan’s shoes for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Telugu remake? Find out

Naga Chaitanya is one of the most loved actors in the South Indian film industry. Well, it was recently reported that he will be stepping into the shoes of Kartik Aaryan for the Telugu remake of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It also said that the makers have signed Jyothika for Tabu’s role. But is there any truth in these rumours? Let us tell you, Naga Chaitanya is not a part of the Telugu remake of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Naga Chaitanya’s team issues a statement…

The actor’s team issued a statement and rubbished rumours of him doing the Telugu remake of Kartik Aaryan’s hit Bollywood film. The statement read, “FACT CHECK: The news which is being circulated on social media regarding @Chay_Akkineni doing the South remake of #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 is completely false. Requesting the respected media handles not to spread the fake news.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which released in the theatres last year, starred Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav. It was directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Anees Bazmee, Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, and Murad Khetani. The movie was a box office hit. For the uninitiated, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office.

On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya made his Bollywood debut with Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chadha. Laal Singh Chadha starred Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Mona Singh. Naga Chaitanya played the role of Aamir’s best friend in the film. Laal Singh Chadha failed to perform well at the box office. However, it received a good response after it released on Netflix.

Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Custody with Arvind Swamy which released in May. It was directed by Venkat Prabhu.
