Jai Bhim: Suriya starrer to release this November; actor nails the look of a lawyer in the new poster

Suriya starrer that was earlier tentatively titled Suriya 39 is now Jai Bhim. Recently, the first look poster of Suriya from the film was unveiled. Suriya is playing the character of a lawyer and in the poster, he was seen in a black coat. The makers have today released yet another poster of the movie and also announced the release month. Jai Bhim is all set to release in November this year on Amazon Prime Video. The release date is yet to be announced. Written and directed by TS Gnanavel, Jai Bhim was shot in and around Chennai before the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. But the shoot was stalled due to the lockdown. Apart from Suriya, the film also stars Rajisha Vijayan and Prakash Raj. Suriya has also bankrolled the film under his production banner 2D Entertainment.

In the new poster, Suriya who is playing a lawyer is seen in the attire of the lawyer and he is seen in an intense pose wearing a pair of spectacles. In the background, a pile of books can be seen. “Equality is our birth right!! #JaiBhimOnPrime this November @PrimeVideoIN,” Suriya tweeted.

Jai Bhim is a murder mystery that highlights the story of a tribal couple Senggeni and Rajakannu who have great affection and love towards each other. Rajakannu is arrested on false charges by the police, and he goes missing from the police station. Senggeni starts searching for her husband. She seeks the help of Chandru, a famous High Court lawyer, who takes up this challenging case to get justice for the innocent tribal woman. Will Chandru be able to give justice? That forms the crux of the story.
