Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan director Atlee makes his Cannes red carpet debut with wife Priya

Ahead of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan’s release, filmmaker Atlee made his Cannes red carpet debut with wife Priya.

Atlee, who is directing Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, made his Cannes Film Festival debut on Friday. The filmmaker was joined by his beautiful wife Priya. The couple looked beyond happy as they walked the Cannes red carpet. They happily posed for the paps at Cannes.

Atlee makes his Cannes debut

On the style front, Atlee and his wife twinned in black. While Atlee was dressed in a black and white three-piece suit, his wife Priya looked beautiful in a black saree. She completed her look with minimal jewellery. In the first photo, Atlee and Priya can be seen posing for the paps. In one of the photos, Atlee gave a thumbs up and flashed a wide smile.

Atlee shared photos on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “That’s exactly what they call a dream come true moment, thank God for being kind to us. And thank you so much @bmwindian_official and @bmwkunexclusive for hosting us at the most prestigious #cannes2023.”

On the work front, Atlee will be making his Bollywood debut with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. Jawan was earlier slated to release on June 2. However, the film’s release was pushed to September. Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Yogi Babu will release on 7^th September this year.

On the other hand, Atlee and Priya welcomed their first child, a baby boy in January this year. Earlier this month, Atlee shared a photo with wife and newborn baby from their visit to Siddhivinayak temple. The filmmaker wrote, “Yes the name is MEER… Very happy to be revealing our little angels name #meer #babyboy.”
