Jr NTR to play a Kabaddi player for his next with Buchi Babu Sana?

Telugu superstar Jr NTR is currently awaiting the release of his magnum opus RRR. The SS Rajamouli directorial also features Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles. Post RRR Jr NTR is all set to collaborate with Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame for his next. Rumours abound that Janhvi Kapoor is being roped to play the female lead.

As per the latest reports the Janatha Garage actor is all set to play a Kabaddi player in the upcoming sports drama.

Apparetly Jr NTR will play the role of an emotional youngster from the village who is a kabaddi player. The actor will begin shooting after completing his other film Siva Koratala. The film will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

If rumours of Janhvi Kapoor playing the role of a female lead in Jr NTR starrer sports drama comes true, then it will mark her debut in the South. In an interview with Film Companion, when asked if she is getting any offers for her South debut, Janhvi said, “I have been speaking to a couple of makers but I have not felt like oh my god, I need to do this.”

RRR featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR is all set to hit theatres on January 7. The movie was postponed due to COVID-19. The maker have now shared that it will release on March 25, 2022.

On the work front, Jr NTR has also signed a film with ‘KGF’ famed director Prashanth Neel.
