Actor Kajal Aggarwal will essay the role of Goddess Parvathi in Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming Telugu film, Kannappa. She shared the first-look character poster of Kajal was unveiled on Monday (January 6). She will play a cameo in the film, which also features Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Mohanlal.

Kajal took to Instagram and shared the poster of a mythological drama. Sharing the first poster, she wrote, “A dream role indeed! Happy to be starting 2025 on this divine note.”
The poster states, “Mother who rules over three worlds! The trishakti who protects her devotees! In the sacred Sri Kalahasti Shrine, resides the holy Jnana Prasunambika.”
The makers have also released the Kannappa teaser and the the first-look poster of Mohanlal as Kirata was unveiled by Vishnu Manchu. Kannappa is based on the legend of Kannappa, a staunch devotee of the Hindu God Shiva. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English.
The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Vishnu Manchu’s father, legendary actor-producer Mohan Babu. Kannappa boasts an ensemble cast including Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Preity Mukundan, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, and Devaraj in supporting roles.
