SHOCKING: Kanchana 3 actress Alexandra Djavi found dead in her Goa apartment

A 24-year-old Russian actress, Alexandra Djavi, who is known for her role in the Tamil film Kanchana 3, was found dead at her Goa apartment along with 34-year-old Ekaterina Titova. The actress was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her rented home in a North Goa village on Aug 19 as per the local police. As per a report by DNA, Goa-based lawyer Vikram Varma had revealed that Ekaterina was found dead in her rented apartment in a separate incident and the investigation would be conducted in presence of Russian consular officials.

Varma said, “Regarding the 24-year-old, Alexandra, we have received information that she had been blackmailed in 2019 for sexual favours and after a preliminary enquiry, the Chennai Police had registered an FIR. But this is preliminary information and we hope that the Goa Police will investigate the matter thoroughly and rule out any possible suspicion in her death.”

Reportedly the actress was previously harassed in Chennai in 2019 by a photographer for sexual favours as revealed by the lawyer for the Russian consulate in Mumbai. The Goa police are still waiting on the green light from Russian Consulate to conduct a postmortem of the body of the actress.
