Kannada actor and politician Nikhil Gowda and Revathi blessed with a baby boy; View pic

Actor-turned politician Nikhil Gowda aka Nikhil Kumaraswamy and wife Revathi welcomed a baby boy on Friday, 24 September. The actor took to his Instagram to share a photo of himself with his newborn baby. He captioned the same as, “Happy to share this very special moment of our lives to the whole world ? Love u my son.” Several actors and fans started pouring their wishes on the post.

In an interview with Bangalore Times, Nikhil said, “It is the best phase of one’s life. I am very excited to be a dad. It’s a new journey. I love kids, so I am doubly eager to welcome the new arrival in our lives. Both our families are also eager and excited as this is the first grandchild.”

As per reports, Nikhil’s father and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and his wife Anitha also paid a visit to the hospital after hearing the good news. For the unversed, recently the baby shower ceremony was held and only a few members attended the same due to Covid-19 restrictions.

HD Deve Gowda with his wife Chennamma, HD Kumaraswamy with his wife Anitha, Munirathna, Minister for Horticulture, Planning Programme Monitoring & Statistics Department, and JD(S) leader Saravana were among the few guests who attended the event.

Nikhil Gowda is the grandson of former Indian Prime Minister HD Devegowda. He also is an actor and Youth President of JD(S). He had unsuccessfully contested from the Mandya Loksabha constituency in the year 2019 general elections against Sumalatha Ambareesh. He became popular after featuring in a hit film titled Seetharama Kalyana. He is now gearing up for his next, Rider. On the personal front, he got married to Revathi in a private ceremony last year in April. Revathi is the grand-niece of Vijayanagara MLA M Krishnappa.
