Kannada actress Shobitha Shivanna dies by suicide at Hyderabad home, found hanging from ceiling fan

Kannada television actor Shobitha Shivanna was found dead at her home in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. She reportedly died by suicide at her residence in Sriram Nagar Colony. In the residence she lived with her husband, Sudhir.

After getting married last year, the Sakleshpur, Karnataka-born actress took a break from acting. Many people have been shocked by her death, and the cause is yet unknown.

For a post-mortem, Shobitha’s body was taken to Osmania Hospital. Her remains will be transported to Bengaluru, where her last ceremonies will take place.

The Hyderabad police have started the investigation of the case as was registered. Officials are working to uncover further details regarding the incident. Police official stated ANI, “Kannada actress Shobhitha Shivanna was found dead in her apartment. She allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Kondapur, within the limits of PS Gachibowli. The police have registered a case.”

Shobhita was born in September 23, 1992. She attended Baldwin Girls High School and graduated from Bangaluru’s National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) with a degree in fashion design.
