Kareena Kapoor to be honoured by the British Government

Kareena Kapoor Khan is to be honoured by the UK government at the House of Commons on October 29. There will be many other artistes too, who will be honored by the members of Parliament and members of the Bradford Metropolitan District Council. Kimberly Walsh of Girls aloud pop band will also be honoured for their contribution to the Global Entertainment Industry.

According to sources, Bollywood celebrities have been awarded here from time to time, we had Amitabh Bachchan who was awarded the ‘Global Diversity Award’ and also Shilpa Shetty who had visited the house of commons after her Big Brother Win in 2007.  Now it is the Begum Kareena Kapoor’s turn .

The event will be attended in strength by MPs from UK’s three leading Political parties—the Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat,  which will be followed by a dinner at Westminster.
