Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals the release date of her upcoming movie ‘Udta Punjab’

Kareena Kapoor Khan is running busy these days with the promotions of her latest release ‘Ki & Ka’. The actress who has been rather choosy with her films, is now ready to come up with another release this year titled ‘Udta Punjab‘. The actress will be seen playing the role of a doctor with a very simple look in the flick.

This Abhishek Chaubey directorial has been in news for its casting. Kareena Kapoor Khan here has been paired with her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor, after they were seen together on the big screens in ‘Milenge Milenge’ in the year 2010. Though they are not paired romantically in the movie and Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh will be their respective partners. But it sure will be exciting to see them again in one frame. Recently, Shahid Kapoor had shared his long hair look from the movie on his Instagram account, and now Kareena has come up with another good revelation about this project.

Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan informed a leading daily about the plans of the release for this film, where she said, “The trailer for Udta Punjab should be out in April and the film is all set to hit the theatres this June.”

Well, there has been some back to back good news for the actress. First her last year’s release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ recently got picked up at the National Award for being the ‘Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment’ and then her latest release ‘Ki & Ka’ receiving good response from the viewers. Be hope for ‘Udta Punjab’ too to be an entertainer.
