Karisma Kapoor’s Nine Year Marriage Came to End Now

Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor got married in the year 2003 but rifts in their marriage have been the talk of the town ever since. The latest on the two of them is that they are headed for a divorce very soon.

The trouble issues in their married life have never been made public by the two but now the rumor mills suggest that the divorce will be finalized soon. Custody of their two children has grown to be an issue.

A source close to the actress said “They’ve been through discussions about this (a divorce) of late. They’re now trying to come upon an agreement where they can get mutual custody of the two children.”

In 2005, after the birth of their daughter Samaira the two reconciled for a short while but then both started living independently. Karishma shifted base to Mumbai from Delhi where Sanjay was stationed.

However, both are trying to come to a mutual agreement on the authority over their children. They are planning a mutual custody and then file for a divorce.
