‘Kedarnath’ Poster: Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer gets a new release date

The first look poster of Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘Kedarnath’ has been unveiled by director Abhishek Kapoor. The much-awaited movie marks the Bollywood debut of Saif Ali Khan and his first wife Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan.

Sharing the poster, Abhishek wrote, “No tragedy, no wrath of nature, no act of God can defeat the power of love! Presenting the official #KedarnathPoster, teaser out at 12 noon”

This is the first poster that features Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sara Ali Khan together. In the poster, we can see Sara Ali Khan cradled on Sushant’s back. The actor is depicting the role of a pitthoo, a man who ferries pilgrims on their backs to the shrine.

The teaser of the movie, which is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, is set to release at noon on Tuesday, 30 October.

‘Kedarnath’ is a love story set in the backdrop of the floods that had wrecked the temple town in 2013. It was shot along a 14-km pilgrimage from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath.

And also after several changes in the release date of the film, finally ‘Kedarnath’ will hit the theatres on December 7, 2018. Which means that ‘Kedarnath’ will be Sara’s debut film and not ‘Simmba’, which is scheduled to hit the screens on December 28, 2018.
