‘Miss you Thatha garu’: Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara, son Gautam pen emotional notes for their grandfather Krishna

The entire Ghattamaneni family is devastated as the head of their family, Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, popularly known as Krishna passed away on November 15. The family released a statement post superstar Krishna’s demise yesterday. Today, on November 16, Mahesh Babu’s son and daughter have paid heartfelt tributes to their grandfather mourning his death. Sitara shared an old pic with her granddad while Gautam also shared his pic with Krishna garu and his sister. Both wrote eulogies for him that will turn you emotional.

Gautam wrote, “Wherever you are… I will always love you .. and I know you will too… Miss you Thatha garu…more than I can say…” while Sitara wrote, “Weekday lunch will never be the same again….. You taught me so many valuable things… always made me smile ? Now all that’s left is my memory of you. You’re my hero… I hope I can make you proud someday. I’ll miss you so much Thatha garu… ?”

The actor suffered cardiac arrest, and he was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was 79. Krishna was one of the top stars of the Telugu film industry from 1960s to the late 1980s. He acted in more than 300 movies, and also produced and directed many.

On Tuesday evening, Krishna garu’s mortal remains were brought to their Nanakaramguda residence and many celebs like Chiranjeevi, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Jr NTR, Naga Chaitanya and others visited Mahesh Babu’s home to pay their last respects. He has been laid to rest in Hyderabad with full state honours. Mahesh Babu performed his father’s last rites.
