Mahesh Babu turns emotional while talking about the premature birth of his son Gautam, Watch video

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu was seen turning emotional on the Telugu talk show, Unstoppable, while talking about the premature birth of his son, Gautam Ghattamaneni. Mahesh revealed his experience of holding his son for the first time when he was a premature baby. The Sarileru Neekevvaru actor will appear in the upcoming episode of the talk show, Unstoppable hosted by actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. The actor will appear in the finale episode that premieres on February 4. Ahead of the episode, a special promo has been released where Mahesh spoke about the journey behind getting over 1,000 heart surgeries done free of cost for needy children.

Mahesh said, “Gautham (Mahesh’s son) was born six weeks before as a premature baby. When I first held him, he was just as big as my palm. Now, Gautam is almost 6 ft tall. We had the money so we could take care of Gautam but what about those who couldn’t afford. I always wanted to do something for children. That’s how this thought of working with children was born”. When Nandamuri asked Mahesh to describe himself as a father, he said he’s just a father to his children.

Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s son turned 15 last year. The actor penned a heartfelt birthday note for his son. “Happy 15 my son!! Watching you grow has been my greatest joy. Wishing you the best today and always! Go on and conquer the world ??? Love you, GG,” he captioned alongside a picture of the father-son duo.

On the work front, Mahesh will be seen in the Telugu film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Directed by Parasuram, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh.
