Mahesh Babu has lost his father! Telugu star Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, popularly known as Krishna, breathed his last on November 15. He was 79. Krishna had suffered a cardiac arrest on November 14 and he was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad. His condition was critical and was on ventilator. Fans of the veteran star and actors from the Indian film industry have condoled the death of the superstar.
Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Suriya and Pooja Hegde among others mourned the demise of Krishna garu.

Krishna began his career in Telugu movies in the early 1960s and had a career spanning over 50 years. He did more than 350 films.
The superstar is survived by his children from his first wife Indira, Mahesh Babu, Padmavathi, Manjula and Priyadarshini and his second wife, Vijaya Nirmala.
