Mahesh Babu pens emotional tribute to late father Krishna: I will carry your legacy forward

Superstar Mahesh Babu lost his father megastar Krishna on November 15 after suffering a cardiac arrest. The actor who shared a close bond of love with his father was devastated with his passing away. Today Mahesh Babu took to social media and penned an emotional tribute to his late father. He not only professed his love for his late father but also promised him that he will carry forward his legacy.

“Your life was celebrated…your passing is being celebrated even more…Such is your greatness. You lived your life fearlessly…daring and dashing was your nature. My inspiration…my courage… and all that I looked up to and all that really mattered are gone just like that. But strangely, I feel this strength in me which I never really felt before… Now I’m fearless…Your light will shine in me forever…I will carry your legacy forward… will make you even more proud…Love you Nanna…My Superstar,” he wrote.

The actor shared a black and white picture of his legendary father from his young days, where Krishna can be seen sitting on a chair and striking a pose for the camera. The post received love from fans and friends. One wrote, “He was an inspiration to a lot of us …RIP. More strength to you”. Another user wrote, “What a legacy he left. Kudos to my childhood superstar”. A third user wrote, “Be strong Superstar. Carry the legacy of your father as you are doing now”. Several other penned crying face emojis in the comment section.

For the unversed, Krishna Ghattamaneni passed away on Tuesday, November 15, in Hyderabad following a cardiac arrest. The legendary actor, was admitted to Continental Hospitals in Hyderabad. The legendary actor was laid to rest on November 16 in Hyderabad. He was cremated with full state honours at the Mahaprasthanam crematorium. Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Vijay Deverakonda, Jr NTR and Ram Charan were among those present to console an emotional Mahesh Babu.
