Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj unveil Adivi Sesh’s Major trailer, Salman Khan calls it ‘outstanding’

Major starring Adivi Sesh is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It was supposed to release earlier. But, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it got delayed. On Monday, Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran launched Major trailer. It is a multilingual film based on the life of late Indian soldier Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Salman, Mahesh and Prithviraj are all praise for the trailer as they shared it on their respective social media handles.

Salman Khan unveiled the Hindi version and wrote, “Happy to launch the trailer of #MajorTheFilm. This looks outstanding. All the best to the team”.

“Proud to be bringing the story of one man who became the nation’s saviour in its darkest times,” wrote Mahesh unveiling the Telugu version.

The Malayalam version of the trailer was shared by Prithviraj. He tweeted, “As a Malayali Sainik School Cadet who grew up idolising the armed forces, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan represents the ultimate hero. A true embodiment of courage, valour and selflessness! So so looking forward to seeing this film inspired from the life of an immortal brave heart of our nation”.

Adivi Sesh is playing the lead role. Prakash Raj and Revathi are playing his on-screen parents. The trailer shows how Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan fought for his country during 26/11 terrorists attacks in Mumbai in 2008. It shows his life in the battlefield, life with his lover and his parents. The film celebrates his valour and dedication towards the country, the braveheart who fought till his last breath.

Apart from acting, Adivi has also written the movie. The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. It also stars Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala and Murali Sharma. Major will release in theaters on June 3.
