Malayalam actor Jagadish’s wife passes away at 61

Malayalam actor PV Jagadish Kumar popularly known as Jagadish’s wife Dr. P Rema has passed away on Friday morning in Thiruvananthapuram. She was 61. Rema was the former head of the forensic department of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. As per a report in IANS, Rema had taken voluntary retirement after being diagnosed with a rare neurological ailment.

Jagadish said, “Rema has been unwell for sometime now and passed away peacefully”. As per reports, her funeral will be held today at 4 pm in Thycaud Shanthi Kavadam. Rema is survived by her husband and two daughters- Ramya and Soumya.

Jagadish had worked in films like The Priest, Godfather, Mutharamkunnu P.O, Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu, Butterflies, Minnaminunginum Minnukettu and Jackpot among others. He is not only an actor, but also a screenwriter, television presenter, cinematographer, and former politician. He worked in over 375 Malayalam films and 2 Hindi films.
