Malik: Fahadh Faasil starrer to release on Amazon Prime Video on THIS date; here’s the brand new intense poster

The release date of Fahadh Faasil starrer Malik is finally out. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the makers have taken the route of OTT. Amazon Prime Video today announced the release date of the Malayalam movie. Malik is all set to premiere on July 15, 2021 on the OTT platform. Apart from Fahadh Faasil, the political thriller also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Vinay Fort, Dileesh Pothan, Jalaja, Salim Kumar, Indrans, Sanal Aman, Dinesh Prabhakar, Divya Prabha and Parvathy Krishna in pivotal roles. It is written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan and produced by Anto Joseph.

Along with the release date, a brand new poster of Malik featuring Fahadh Faasil is also unveiled.

Malik chronicles the journey of Sulaiman Malik (essayed by Fahadh Faasil), a charismatic leader bestowed with unconditional love and loyalty from the people of his community who leads a revolution against authoritative forces that try to encroach on the lives of his people. The movie spans different time periods, and it is a compelling story of a past ridden with crime, death, and pain that is recounted to Freddy, a juvenile criminal, who has been assigned to eliminate his estranged uncle, Sulaiman, while behind bars.

Director Mahesh Narayanan said that Malik is a story “rooted in the Indian ethos with multiple nuances in its character as well as the emotions they portray” and he hopes the film resonates with the expectations of the audience.
