Mammootty completes 50 years in the film industry; gets a heartfelt wish from friend Mohanlal

Megastar Mammootty is currently trending on the internet as today he is celebrating 50 glorious years in the film industry. On this special occasion, Mammootty’s close friend Mohanlal took to Twitter to wish the actor. He revealed how they shared screen space in more than 50 movies together. He tweeted, “Today, my brother completes 50 glorious years in the film industry. I feel so proud to have shared the screen with him in 55 memorable films and looking forward to many more. Congratulations Ichakka! @mammukka.” Mammootty, who is quite active on social media was quick to reply. He wrote, “Thank you dear lal.”

Many fans are taking to Twitter to wish the actor. One of the fans wrote, “Proud moment, 50 Years of one of the finest Actors in our country. Speaking of the actor, he is one of the leading stars and has given several blockbusters in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada languages. He may soon resume for his upcoming film, Bheeshma Parva. For the unversed, his first movie was Anubhavangal Paalichakal in the year 1971. The actor, who was last seen in Priest, was garnering headlines when he recently posted a new photo. In the new photo, he was seen sporting a ponytail. Fans were eager to know whether his new look is for his upcoming movie, however, the star was cryptic about it. Sharing the new look, the actor wrote, “Tiny pony #staytuned (sic).”
