Manya Surve Is My Re-Introduction – John Abraham

Model turned Actor John Abraham, who is famous for his physique is at present a very contented man as he feels that he has finally managed to step out of his image by playing the real life inspired role of Manya Surve.Manya a member of Mumbai underworld was gunned down in an encounter with the police at Wadala in 1982, in what is said as the first recorded encounter.

Acccording to sources, John said,”The story of Manya Surve is very interesting, it was a different character. It is not a risk, it is re-introduction of John Abraham. It is a new beginning  hope people see me in a different light.For the first time I have left John Abraham behind. People will remember Manya Surve.We all play gangsters in the film, we have not glorified them, shown gangsters like they are. We have tried to stay close to the facts,” said the actor, who is teaming up with Gupta after ‘Zinda’. His another famous negative role was in ‘Dhoom’.
