As per reports pouring in, veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal has been hospitalised after experiencing breathing difficulties. Read on to know the details.

As reported by India Today, actor Mohanlal has been admitted to a hospital in Kochi after experiencing symptoms like high-grade fever, breathing difficulties, and muscle pain. According to an official medical statement, the actor is suspected to have a viral respiratory infection. The 64-year-old actor has reportedly also been advised to avoid public interactions for at least five days. The actor has been told to follow a prescribed medication regimen.
As per the report, Mohanlal returned to Kochi after finishing the shoot for ‘L2: Empuraan’ and the post-production of his directorial debut ‘Barroz’ in Gujarat. Fortunately, recent medical reports show that he is now recovering well under observation. The hospital’s official statement was shared by industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai.

Mohanlal’s Barroz marks the actor’s marks the directorial debut of the actor who is popularly known as Lalettan by the fans. The film – which was initially slated for release on March 28, 2024, will now be released on October 2. Earlier this year, Mohanlal and other members of the team were sent a legal notice by a German-based Malayali writer, alleging copyright infringement.
