Malayalam actor Mohanlal has no dearth of fans and he has a huge fan base from all age groups. Recently, a video went viral where a fan named Rugmini Mami burst into tears and expressed her wish to meet her favourite actor, Mohanlal. She stays in an orphanage in Punkunnam, Thrissur in Kerala. Her husband, who was a temple priest, died a few years ago.
The viral video of Rugmini Mami reached Mohanlal through his fan association and he decided to surprise the old woman via a video call. He also promised to meet her in person once the Covid-19 pandemic ends. This heartwarming gesture of Mohanlal has won the hearts of his fans yet again.
The screenshots from the video of Mohanlal talking to Rugmini Mami are doing the rounds. Take a look at the pics where the 12th Man actor is seen talking to the octogenarian over the phone. The old woman was seen happy seeing Mohanlal as the latter also made a sweet gesture towards her.

On the work front, Mohanlal will be seen in Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, which won several National Awards. He was last seen in Drishyam 2 by director Jeethu Joseph. The actor also has Aaraattu, Ram, 12th Man, Bro Daddy and L2: Empuraan in his kitty. Mohanlal has also turned director and he is making his directorial debut with Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure.
