12th Man: Mohanlal wraps up shoot of Jeethu Joseph directorial; to release on OTT?

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and team have wrapped up the shoot of their upcoming film 12th Man. It is a thriller and is directed by Drishyam franchise director Jeethu Joesph. A picture of the team along with Mohanlal has been doing the rounds as the film is completed. 12th Man went on floors in August.

Director Jeethu shared pics with Mohanlal and others and wrote, “Last days of 12th Man..” Apart from Mohanlal, the movie also stars Unni Mukundan, Anusree, Aditi Ravi, Leona Lishoy, Veena Nandakumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Saiju Kurup, Santhi Priya, Priyanka Nair, and Sshivada in pivotal roles.

Reportedly, the film is likely to premier directly on the OTT platform and will skip theatrical release.

As per TimesofIndia.com’s report, the film is a 24-hour story with a lot of suspense and drama. The film has a total of six male and six female characters and does not have the usual hero–Heroine concept.12th Man is backed by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Apart from 12th Man, Mohanlal will also be seen in Bro Daddy, Marakkar: Arabhikadalinte Simham, Aaraattu, Ram, and L2: Empuraan among others. Mohanlal has also turned director and he is making his directorial debut with Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure.
