As Sita Ramam clocks in 1 year, Mrunal Thakur pens an emotional note thanking fans

One year ago, on August 5, Mrunal Thakur forayed into new waters as she made her Telugu debut with Sita Ramam. The actress won hearts for her portrayal of the innocent and lovestruck Sita, who embarked on a journey of old-school love. Sita Ramam showed a pure love story which did not care about how the other person looks, but only how they made the other feel. As the film clocked in on one year, the actress penned an emotional note for her audience.

Mrunal Thakur pens a note on 1 year of Sita Ramam

On Saturday, Mrunal took to her Instagram to share a collection of memories from Sita Ramam. The video consisted of the good times she spent on set with co-star Dulquer Salmaan as well as the rest of the cast and crew. It had some heartwarming moments of her teaching dance to young girls as well as working on the farm. The video encapsulates the purity and warmth that even the film provided.

Along with it, Mrunal penned an emotional note addressed to her fans. She thanked them for accepting her as their own ‘Telugu Ammai’. She wrote, “Dear Audience, This was my first Telugu debut and the love you all showered me with was just beyond my wildest dreams! You accepted me as your own Telugu Ammai and thank you for making this incredible and memorable journey of love, so so special. I promise to always entertain you with a different range of characters for many many many more years (so be prepared ).”

She also thanked her director Hanu Raghavapudi and co-star Dulquer. Mrunal said, “@hanurpudi thank you for helping me bring out the best version of Sita @dqsalmaan I can go on and on about how memorable you made this whole experience for me (go read the birthday post I just put up for you, that’ll tell you why).”

Mrunal Thakur upcoming movies

Last year, along with Sita Ramam, Mrunal also gave an impressive performance in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor co-starrer Jersey. Up next, she has some amazing and interesting films in the pipeline. It includes Hindi films Pippa, Aankh Micholi and Pooja Meri Jaan. She also has another South film in her kitty with Nani, titled Hi Nanna. Mrunal is also working with Vijay Deverakonda on a Telugu film.
