Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala took everyone by surprise when they announced their engagement on August 8. Nagarjuna shared pictures of the couple from their engagement ceremony while welcoming her to the family. Now, the couple shared some unseen pictures from the event which looked lovely. The candid shots were backed with a heartfelt note, saying that their hearts are as red earth and pouring rain.

They wrote, “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting. –From Kurunthogai, translated by A K Ramanujan.” Several Bollywood celebs congratulated the new couple. Fatima Sana Shaikh commented, “Ayyyyyyyyeeeeee!!!!! Congratulations“. While Shibani Akhtar shared, “Congratulations you beautiful girl wishing so much love and happiness for you both.“
