Nagarjuna shares FIRST PICS of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala from engagement ceremony, says, “We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family”

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have begun a new chapter of their lives together. The couple – who hadn’t publically acknowledged their relationship to date, got engaged this morning at 9:42 am. Chaitanya’s father, actor Nagarjuna took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share official pictures of the intimate ceremony.

Taking to Twitter, Nagarjuna shared two pictures from Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s engagement ceremony. Along with the love-filled pics, the senior actor wrote, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!!” He continued, “We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless!” 8.8.8 A beginning of infinite love”

The guest list will include at Nagarjuna’s place in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.  Present for the intimate ceremony were Amala Akkineni and Akhil, Naga Chaitanya’s brother as well as the actress’ parents.

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Their divorce came through on October 2, 2021. The newly engaged couple met a few months after Naga’s divorce from Samantha. Around May that year, Naga and Sobhita were first spotted together in Hyderabad, Naga’s hometown where Sobhita was promoting her film, Major. Reports suggested that the actress who was in the city for film promotions, celebrated her birthday along with Naga and some friends. That’s when they clicked, their friendship got thicker and they started dating each other.
