Heard this? Nagarjuna Akkineni to play a retired RAW officer in Praveen Sattaru’s next

Nagarjuna Akkineni will be seen in Praveen Sattaru’s forthcoming film and the movie went on floors in Hyderabad on Monday. The film is yet-to-be-titled and this is Nagarjuna and Praveen’s first project together. As per reports, the shooting started with an action sequence. Cinema Express quoted a source saying that Nag has joined the sets and the team began the shoot with a ‘spine chilling action sequence’. He was impressed with Praveen’s working style and is enjoying the proceedings. “After this schedule, the team will fly out to Goa in March to shoot regular scenes of the film,” the source said.

The source further revealed that Nagarjuna will be seen as a retired Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer. He will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar and his look is going to be a major highlight of the film as he has gone for a stylish makeover.

The film also has Anikha Surendran and Gul Panag and it marks their debut in Telugu cinema. As per a source, Anikha is playing a prominent role and Gul Panag will be seen as a billionaire sister of Nagarjuna.

Praveen Sattaru is excited to work with Nagarjuna and he told Deccan Chronicle that his first day of working with the actor was ‘super cool’. He added, “He’s a stunner; his charm and the effortless ease with which he gets into the role is too good”. Nag will be seen as a 45-year-old and he will be performing high octane action sequences in the movie. Praveen said that the action sequences will be like Hollywood standards.
