Intentionally or unintentionally, people tend to divide actors and actresses on basis of their work done in a particular industry. People do say North Indian stars, Bollywood stars, South Indian stars instead of Indian actors. Well, speaking about this divide, the biggest superstars and father-son duo Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya joined in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble where they stated that people, as well as the media, still refer to them as the South stars.

When asked if people still segregate him as a South actor, to which the Criminal actor said, “All the time.” He even joked saying that people ask him questions like ‘what happens in the South’. “Even now (it happens). When I walk into a restaurant in Delhi or Bombay, (people say) ‘woh dekh, South ka actor hai.’ They say in the airports, I keep hearing that.” When asked if it bothered him, Nagarjuna said, “No no, I feel very proud.”

Chaitanya was also asked the same thing who also said he has been referred to as a South actor. “We hear it all the time. Like dad said, we are happy about it, our roots are here. But at the same time, it is nice that the whole North Indian, South Indian divide has sort of getting diluted. I think it has always been the case, our emotions are the same, we all are human beings and we connect to, so it’s good that people are seeing that way now. I think technology is removing that barrier.
