Nagarjuna reveals Naga Chaitanya was depressed after separation from Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced their divorce in October 2021. After 2 years of separation, Naga Chaitanya got engaged to his girlfriend Sobhita Dhulipala on August 8. However, in a recent interview with Times Now, Nagarjuna revealed that his son was depressed when he got separated from Samantha in 2021 while talking about finding happiness for the second time. Moreover, he also shared that Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple.

Nagarjuna talks about the separation with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha

Nagarjuna told the portal, “Chay has found happiness again. He is very happy. So am I.” He added, “It has not been an easy time for Chay or the family. The separation from Samantha) left him very depressed. My boy doesn’t show his feelings to anyone. But I knew he was unhappy. To see him smile again… Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple. They love each other dearly.”

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced divorce

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha got married in 2017 and got divorced in 2021. The two then released a joint statement which read, “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during the difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”
