Nagarjuna shares MAJOR details about Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala and Akhil Akkineni-Zainab Ravdjee’s weddings

Nagarjuna is a proud father as his sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni, prepare for their upcoming weddings. In a recent interview, he shared the details about their engagements and said it’s a double celebration for the Akkineni family. Naga Chaitanya is set to marry Sobhita Dhulipala, while Akhil will wed Zainab Ravdjee shortly.

Nagarjuna clarifies weddings of Naga Chaitanya & Akhil Akkineni

Chaitanya and Sobhita are scheduled to tie the knot on December 4 at Annapurna Studio in Hyderabad. The venue was built by Nagarjuna’s late grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, in honour of his centennial birth anniversary. “December 4 is just around the corner. We’re hosting the wedding at Annapurna Studios, the family studio my father established. While we intended for it to be an intimate ceremony, we anticipate a large turnout even with a limited guest list, as both our families are quite large,” Nagarjuna shared in an interview with Zoom.

Despite rumours suggesting that both weddings would occur on the same day at the same venue, Nagarjuna clarified that the celebrations will be spaced out. “I am incredibly happy for Akhil. His fiancée Zainab is a wonderful person, and I’m thrilled they have chosen to commit to each other. However, their wedding will take place in 2025,” he said.

About Akhil and Zainab

Akhil and Zainab recently got engaged at a family gathering attended by close relatives. Zainab, the daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee, is an artist who has lived in India, Dubai, and London. Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged in August during a private ceremony in Hyderabad, surrounded by their families and friends. Nagarjuna announced this happy news by sharing delightful photos from the engagement on his X account.

Naga Chaitanya was formerly married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple announced their separation in October 2021 through a joint statement on social media.

Upcoming projects

On the professional front, Nagarjuna will soon appear in Kubera and Coolie. Chaitanya is set to star in Thandel, and Akhil will feature in Hastaara Vedavidhyam. Sobhita was last seen in Love, Sitara.
