Nayanthara and filmmaker boyfriend Vignesh Shivan get their first shot of Covid vaccine

The second wave of Covid-19 has been spreading rapidly all around the nation and cases have been multiplying faster than ever. This has created a major crisis when it comes to oxygen cylinders, medication, equipment and much more. So more and more people have moved to get vaccinated and take their Covid shot. Recently, South actress Nayanthara and filmmaker boyfriend Vignesh Shivan were seen getting their first shot of the Covid vaccine. Vignesh urged his followers to get vaccinated as well.

The couple got their vaccination at the Kumaran Hospitals in Chennai. Vignesh took to his Instagram account and sharing the pictures he wrote, “Please please get vaccinated ?????????? Stay safe, stay indoors #thistooshallpass #idhuvumKadandhuPogum ? #covid_19 #vaccinationdone✔️(sic)”

Talking about Nayanthara, she will be seen next in Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe. The movie also star Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, Khushboo, Prakash Raj, and others. Annaatthe is set to release on Diwali this year on November 14. Meanwhile, Vignesh is said to resume filming for his directorial movie Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The film will star his lady love Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha.
