On Thursday (June 9), actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan tied the knot in Chennai in an intimate ceremony. Their families and close ones were in attendance. Also, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan marked his presence. Several South celebs like Rajinikanth, Karthi, Sarath Kumar, Atlee, Vijay Sethupathi, Mani Ratnam, among others also attended the wedding ceremony of Vignesh and Nayanthara. Today, on June 10, the newlyweds visited the holy Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam temple to offer prayers and seek blessings.
The pics and videos from their temple visit have gone viral on social media. In one video, the couple is seen walking hand in hand. Nayanthara was in a yellow traditional saree and heavy jewellery. She tied her hair in a bun while Vignesh was in an off-white shirt and veshti.

Reportedly, the couple initally planned to have their wedding in Tirupati, but they changed the plan due to logistical issues.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan met on the sets of 2015 film Naanum Rowdydhaan, that was directed by Vignesh and it starred Nayanthara in the lead role. They fell in love soon after that.
Post wedding, the Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal director posted dreamy varmala and mangalsutra moments from their wedding. The Lady Superstar donned a custom-made vermillion red saree with a matching veil while Vignesh was in a traditional kurta and veshti Both looked stunning together. From Katrina Kaif to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, many celebs congratulated the couple on social media.
