On son Pranav Mohanlal’s birthday, Mohanlal launches the character poster of Hridayam

On son Pranav Mohanlal’s birthday, his superstar father Mohanlal shared the poster of the former’s upcoming movie Hridayam. In the poster, Pranav is seen clicking a picture with his camera and the moviegoers found similarity with Mohanlal’s movie Chithram where he struck a similar pose.

Sharing the poster, Mohanlal wrote, “Happy Birthday Appu. Thrilled to share this poster of Pranav in his upcoming film ‘Hridayam’. God Bless(sic)”.

Malayalam film Hridayam is directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan and is backed by Merryland Cinemas. Apart from Pranav Mohanlal, the movie also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles. It is expected to be a campus romance drama. Reportedly, Vineeth Sreenivasan has almost completed the shoot prior to the second wave of pandemic and a song is yet to be shot. There are 15 tracks in the film and most of the songs are sung by KS Chithra, Mohammed Maqbool Mansoor, Hesham Abdul Wahab, Sachin Warrier, Unni Menon, Job Kurian, and Aravind Venugopal. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Darshana Rajendran are also crooning two songs in the film. Recently, the makers have released a glimpse of its audio track. It is expected to hit the theatres once the Covid-19 pandemic situation improves and theatres reopen.

Talking about Mohanlal, he is collaborating with Drishyam director Jeethu Joseph for a mystery thriller, 12th Man. It is Jeethu Joseph’s fourth collaboration with Mohanlal. They are currently working on their third film Ram.
