PHOTOS: Samantha Akkineni enjoys kayaking, nature trails & more on her vacay with a friend

Samantha Akkineni, who keeps her fans updated with her latest photos and videos, shared some lovely snaps from her recent vacation. Apparently, the actress, who has taken a month’s break, was in Goa with her close friend Shilpa Reddy. The actor shared fun pictures from the last week and from the photos we can easily make out that she had a blast. During her vacation in Goa, she enjoyed kayaking, nature trails and club-hopping among others. On Sunday (September 5), she took to Instagram to share some beautiful photos from Goa. She captioned the photos as, “The week that was (sic),” with a flower emoji.

In an interview with IndiaToday, she had revealed that the actress is taking a month’s sabbatical. She had said, “I am taking a small break for a month or so. I haven’t signed anything new. When I come back from the break, I will start listening to new scripts. Right now, I don’t have any projects in the pipeline.”

Speaking of the actress, she was last seen in Raj and DK’s The Family Man 2. She received mixed reactions for her role as Rajalakshmi aka Raji, a Sri Lankan Tamil and a member of rebel forces. The web series is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

She recently wrapped up the shooting of director Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam, in which she plays the titular role. The movie is currently in the post-production stage and will hit the screens next year. She also has Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. In the movie, she will be sharing screen space with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.
