PIC: After ‘Neerja’ biopic, comes the Neerja Bhanot Chowk

Sonam Kapoor gained accolades for her performance in a biopic that was based on the real life braveheart Neerja Bhanot. ‘Neerja’ is the story of the 23-year-old flight attendant, who gave up her life to save 359 passengers on a hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi in 1986.

Sonam Kapoor who depicted the role onscreen is mighty inspired by her. She had been living the young girl’s life while filming for the biopic. From meeting Neerja’s family to visiting her school, the beauty has done it all.

Recently, Sonam Kapoor posted a picture on her social network account that has a picture of a place being named as Neerja Bhanot Chowk in Mumbai. The ‘Khoobsurat’ actress has captioned it as, “The #neerjabhanot Chowk, in tears.. No one deserves it more’. [sic]
