After Oka Laila Kosam, Pooja Hegde and Naga Chaitanya to collaborate after 7 years?

Pooja Hegde and Naga Chaitanya are all set to share screen space again after 7 years. The latest reports state that they will team up for filmmaker Venkat Prabhu’s next bilingual movie. This project will mark Venkat Prabhu’s first straight movie in Telugu.

However, an official confirmation is yet to be made! Pooja Hegde and Naga Chaitanya first collaborated for the Telugu-language romantic comedy 2014 movie, Oka Laila Kosam, which marked Pooja’s first debut in the Telugu cinema.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Pooja Hegde’s upcoming projects include romantic multilingual film Radhe Shyam with Prabhas, the Koratala Siva-directed film Acharya alongside Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan,and the Tamil film Beast opposite Vijay, which will mark her return to Tamil cinema after 9 years.

She will also be seen in Bollywood film Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty opposite Ranveer Singh. Hegde has also been casted in Salman Khan’s upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, directed by Farhad Samji, which was later titled as Bhaijaan. Next, she will appear in Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas’ next film, which marks her second collaboration with Mahesh.

Whereas, Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Bangarraju, which serves as a sequel to the 2016 film Soggade Chinni Nayana. It also stars Akkineni Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna who reprise their roles from the original alongside Krithi Shetty.

He is also set to make his Bollywood film debut in 2022 with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer comedy-drama Laal Singh Chaddha, which is slated for cinema release on 11 August 2022. It is a remake of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name. Next, he also has Telugu-language romantic comedy film, Thank You with Raashi Khanna.
