Prabhas pens a heartfelt birthday note to wish his uncle and Radhe Shyam co-star Krishnam Raju

Legendary actor Krishnam Raju, who is known as the Rebel Star, turned a year older today, i.e on January 20. To mark the special occasion, Prabhas has penned a heartfelt birthday note for his uncle Krishnam Raju. The Baahubali actor also thanked him for always inspiring with his wisdom and guidance.

Sharing a poster of Krishnam Raju from Radhe Shyam on his Instagram Story, Prabhas wrote, “Wishing my uncle, the Rebel star Dr. Krishnam Raju garu a very Happy Birthday! Thank you for always inspiring us with your wisdom and for your guidance”.

Krishnam Raju will be seen playing a spiritual guru in Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam. It is said that it will be the last film of his career. Recently, Prabhas shared the poster of Krishnam Raju from Radhe Shyam. “It has been nothing short of an honour to work with my uncle, the legendary Rebel Star, Dr. @uvkrishnamraju garu yet again. Here’s presenting #Paramahamsa’s first look from #RadheShyam,” he captioned it. Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, it is set in the backdrop of 1970’s Europe. The Pan-India movie also stars Pooja Hegde in the female lead role. It was slated to release on January 14, 2022 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the release date has been postponed.

For the unversed, Prabhas’ father Uppalapati Surya Narayana Raju who was a famous Telugu producer, is the younger brother of Krishnam Raju. Prabhas shares a close bond with his uncle Krishnam Raju.
