Prabhas reveals if KGF 2’s success puts him under pressure to deliver blockbuster with Salaar

KGF: Chapter 2 hit the theatres on April 14. The movie has been creating a lot of buzz much before its release. The Prashanth Neel directorial is said to take the box-office by storm and is expected to open with good numbers. KGF 2 has already been declared blockbuster. Prabhas, who will be seen in Prashanth’s Salaar has reacted to the news of Yash starrer pan-India film going to be a blockbuster.

In an interview with DNA, the Radhe Shyam actor spoke about director KGF Chapter 2’s success and if it puts him under pressure to deliver Salaar.

He said, “Why? It’s good news right! Prashanth Neel delivering a blockbuster — my director! It’s big news, it’s a very beautiful news for the whole team.”

He added, “We’ve already started shooting Salaar, so it’s great news that I’m working with one of the biggest directors. It’s great news. Why is there any pressure? It’s a happy thing!”

Salaar teaser will be released next month. It also stars Shruti Hasan. Reportedly, it might be made in two parts. However, earlier while reacting to the reports during KGF 2’s promotions, Prashanth had said, “We have not decided about Salaar releasing in two parts. If we have the plans, we will make an official announcement through a grand event. For now, my focus is on KGF: Chapter 2.”

Salaar is Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel’s first collaboration and it marks the Darling Star’s debut in the Kannada film industry.
