Salaar original release plan
The Prabhas starrer was originally supposed to release on September 28, pan-India. On the said date, the film would have clashed with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War and the comedy Fukrey 3. It was going to be the first big budget film to come after Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. With it’s postponement, Jawan gets a much bigger window to keep the cash registers ringing.
While the makers haven’t confirmed a new date, as per reports, the new release date will be in November. In case that happens, it would be around another biggie, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3. As for Salaar, the film also stars Shruti Haasan opposite Prabhas and is directed by Prashanth Neel.
