Confirmed: Priyanka Chopra signs her 2nd film opposite Farhan Akhtar

Priyanka Chopra who has been away from ‘Bollywood’ movies for more than 2 years now, is all set to make her come back with Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’. This Ali Abbas directorial is all set to go on floors by 17^th July and also stars Disha Patani in pivotal role.

And now we have some more good news for all the PeeCee fans.

That Priyanka has signed her 2nd movie opposite Farhan Akhtar. The ‘Baywatch’ actress will star in a movie that is written by ‘Margarita with a Straw’ director Shonali Bose and is tentatively titled, ‘The Sky is Pink’.

The news was confirmed by Priyanka as she shared the draft of the film on her Instagram stories.

The movie revolves around Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13. Though the braveheart was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, it did not deter her spirit. She started giving speeches on platforms like TEDx and INK and many more. The youngster who inspired many, bid adieu to the world at the tender age of 18.

As reported by Indian Express, “The movie is based on Aisha’s life and her book ‘My Little Epiphanies’. Priyanka and Farhan will play her parents’ role. Zaira Wasim will be portraying Aisha’s role in the film.”

These days Priyanka is also in news for her love life. She is rumoured to be dating international pop star, Nick Jonas. Pictures of their outings have been setting the social network on fire. Nick was recently in the country, apparently to meet Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra and family. If reports are to be believed then the lovebirds plan to make their relationship official by July end.
