He disclosed that Akshay Kumar had approached for the rights and his company has given the rights to Pooja Films as they felt Kumar is the ideal actor for the role. Koneru revealed, “Since we could not do the film, we gave the rights to Pooja Films. Ramesh Varma will be making his Bollywood debut with the movie.”
When asked about Ravi Teja starrer Khiladi, Koneru revealed that some popular actors from Bollywood have already approached them for the movie rights. So, it seems that we can have a Bollywood remake of Khiladi too.
