Project K: Disha Patani joins Prabhas-Deepika Padukone in sci-fi thriller

Young Rebel star Prabhas is back in action again. He will soon be seen in the much-awaited big-budget movie Project K. The movie also has the gorgeous Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is also a pivotal part of the science-fiction drama. Now according to the latest update, MS Dhoni fame actress Disha Patani has also joined the A-listers.

On Saturday, Disha confirmed that she’ll be collaborating with the Baahubali star on his next project. Reportedly Disha Patani will play an important role in Nag Ashwin’s magnum opus.

Taking to her Instagram account, Disha posted a story with flowers and a note. The note read, “Welcome Disha. Project K welcomes you! We are thrilled to have you onboard.”

Tentatively titled Project K, the movie is a pan India project that’s been in the news ever since its announcement. Filmmaker Nag Ashwin, known for helming the National Award-winning 2018 biographical drama Mahanati, is directing the project. Aswini Dutt, the producer and founder of Vyjayanthi Movies, is backing the project which marks the 50th year of the production house.

On the work front, Prabhas has a host of projects in his kitty. He will also be resuming the action drama Salaar, co-starring Shruti Haasan which is helmed by KGF 2 fame Prashanth Neel. The actor will next be seen next in Om Raut’s magnum opus Adipurush, which is announced for theatrical release on 12th January 2023. Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Sail Ali Khan are also part of the film.

Whereas Deepika Padukone also has Fighter with Hrithik Roshan in her kitty.
