Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer to go on floor on THIS date

It’s almost been a year since Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ hit the theatres. The movie went on to be a blockbuster hit. The film had a successful 50 days box office run and had collected over Rs. 300 crores worldwide. Here is an update for Pushpa fans the sequel is all set to go on the floor on August 22.

Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are all set to return as Pushpa Raj and Srivalli to shoot for the highly-anticipated Pushpa 2. The film will also bring back Fahadh Faasil as an antagonist. The production house shared the news on Sunday.

Mythri Movie Makers took to Instagram and shared an announcement poster to reveal that Pushpa 2 is all set to start filming. They also announced that a special pooja would take place on Monday, August 22. “#PushpaRaj is back! This time to Rule #PushpaTheRule Pooja Ceremony tomorrow,” the caption read.

No sooner did the makers share the update on social media, than excited fans soon filled the comment section with love. “Pushpa raj is back!!!! ?”,  “Pushpa is coming to set fire again,” “I’m very wating pushpa 2 love you allu arjun anna,” and more such comments were shared by fans.

Pushpa, released in December 2021, was a massive hit not only in the South but also in Hindi circuits. The film surpassed Rs 100 crore collections with its Hindi version along. Reportedly the budget of Pushpa 2 will apparently surpass the budget of the prequel.  The sequel will hit the theatres next year.
