About Pushpa 2: The Rule

Pushpa 2 continues to rewrite box office history, showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The film will star Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj and Rashmika Mandanna steps back into her role as Srivalli. Fahadh Faasil reprises his role of cop Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat- Pushpa’s nemesis. The film has been directed by Sukumar and features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil has been released in theatres. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings with music on T-Series.

The sequel was officially announced a few days before the original film’s release in December 2021. It was titled Pushpa 2, while the subtitle Pushpa 2: The Rule was announced in August 2022. 10% of the film’s footage was initially shot back-to-back with the original film. However, Sukumar decided to alter the story, which led to the film’s principal photography commencing in October 2022.
