Pushpa: The Rise to arrive a week before Christmas; Makers share the new release date

Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil starrer Pushpa: The Rise which was earlier scheduled to release on December 25 has been preponed. The movie will now hit the marquee on December 17. We don’t know the reason for the preponement, however, fans are very excited about the same as they will get to watch the movie a week before Christmas which was the original release date.

Sharing the Pushpa release date announcement poster, the makers tweeted, “This December, Theatres will go Wild with the arrival of #PushpaRaj Fire. #PushpaTheRise will hit the Big Screens on DEC 17th! #PushpaTheRiseOnDec17 #ThaggedheLe.” Pushpa: The Rise which is part one of the series is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year. And with theatres opening, many South movies are finally getting release dates and are all set for audiences.

After Allu and Fahadh’s first look posters, the makers had recently unveiled Rashmika’s look. Rashmika took to Instagram to share her raw and intense character poster. She is playing Allu’s love interest named Srivalli.
Rashmika and Allu are sharing screen space for the first time. And on other hand, Faasil, who is known for starring in movies like Malik, Joji, Kumbalangi Nights and Super Deluxe, is marking his Telugu debut with this movie. He is playing the role of an antagonist cop.

Written and directed by Sukumar, the drama is about red sanders smuggling in the hills of Andhra. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media. Being a pan-Indian movie it will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
