If reports are to be believed, the accident happened because of the negligence of the film crew. As per reports, Rachita was not part of yesterday’s shooting, however, Ajay was present. In another interview, Ajay had said, how he was just 200 meters away from the shooting spot and he had refused to a stunt scene considering the pandemic.
He had observed that there was a high tension line around the water-filled area. His death has raised several questions and debates on shooting safety. People are questioning the safety protocols during shoots in the Kannada film industry. In 2016, a similar incident had happened on the sets of the film Maasthi Gudi. Apparently, two crew members had died that time.
