Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan to team up on screen after 32 years – reports

Superstar Rajinikanth is basking under the success of his recently released film, Jailer. The film has already shattered the box office as it has crossed the Rs 400 mark just within eight days of its release. After delivering a massive hit, the actor is back in talks for his next film.

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachcan to reunite after 32 years

In Thalaivar 170, Rajinikanth will be seen playing a cop. The TJ Gnanavel-directed film is expected to hit the floors in September. According to the buzz megastar Amitabh Bachchan is being roped in for this film as well.

As reported by ETimes, Amitabh will be playing the character of an antagonist opposite Rajinikanth. The duo will be collaborating together after a massive gap of 32 years. Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan were last seen together in Mukul Anand’s Hum. As Anirudh has delivered catchy tunes for Jailer, the musical maestro will the adding up to the charm of Thalaivar 170 with his musical prowess.

Workwise Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan.
