Rajinikanth APOLOGISED to Jackie Shroff on the sets of Jailer, here’s why

The audience is up for a treat as they will witness veteran and iconic actors Rajinikanth and Jackie Shroff in an upcoming film Jailer. Earlier this month, the trailer for Jailer was released and was loved by netizens for the right reasons. Jailer is an action-packed entertainer starring Rajinikanth, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Vinayakan.

Recently, actor Jackie Shroff has expressed himself about an incident that took place on the sets of Jailer. In an interview with News 18, the actor revealed that Rajinikanth had apologized to him during the film’s shoot.

Jackie Shroff reveals Rajinikanth apologized to him

Speaking with the news portal, the actor said that Rajinikanth forgot to say goodbye to the actor after wrapping up his shoot. Surprisingly, Rajniikanth came back to the set to say goodbye to Jackie, which made him emotional and got teary-eyed with the humble gesture.

Quoting the news portal, Jackie said, “I remember he had wrapped his shoot for the day and was leaving for his home. I still had certain scenes to shoot. He had sat in his car but decided to come back only because he had not said ‘bye’ to me. He came and said, ‘I am sorry I forgot to say goodbye to you. If you need me, I will stay back.’ I was almost teary-eyed but held on to my emotions. It was a sheer pleasure working on a film where he’s the leading man and we’ve done our guest appearances. Whatever we’ve done, we’ve enjoyed every bit of it because he has loved us and given us a lot of love and respect. He took care of us like his family members.”

Previously, the two had collaborated in 2014 for Kochadaiiyaan. Now, the duo will be seen together in Jailer wherein the audience will get to witness Jackie Shroff play the role of an antagonist.
